Bunny? That's the tile of this photo? Why in the world is a cityscape photo like this titled Bunny? -- Well, the story behind this photo lies just outside of the crop in the lower right hand side of this picture. I had made my way down along the edge of the Chicago River along the METRA train tracks, and while I was setting up the tripod for the shot we were visited by some very inquisitive bunnies. They didn't seem to have much of a built in fear of humans. So because it provides me an opportunity to tell a cute story, that's how this photo got its title.

Metroscap is a collection of black & white cityscape prints of Chicago by photographer Jason Wilson. In 2004 when the Metroscap Collection (of black and white cityscapes and black and white cityscape prints) was launced we tried very, very hard to register the domain name metroscape.com. However, it turned out that it was already (and still is) squatted by someone else in South Korea. So instead of be discouraged about not being able to acquire the metroscape.com domain we instead used that roadblock as an opportunity be creative with the name and pronounciation that we desired with the term Metroscape. So after some quality time with Adobe Illustrator and a bunch of pencil sketches we arrived at our current spelling, Metroscap (with the long vowel sound pronounciation bar above the "a").
